Warranty and Certificates

All the jewels and watches on sale on shop.gioielleriaperdichizzi.it are 100% original and authentic; the watches have a 2-year international guarantee certificate.
We ship the item accompanied by the original box together with the certificate of authenticity, certification and instruction booklet.
The warranty is international and, once validated, will be valid for 24 months against manufacturing defects. In the event of proven malfunction, the warranty will allow the product to be repaired or replaced.
Improper use is excluded from the warranty coverage, so we cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages caused by incorrect use of the product. Furthermore, the following are excluded from the international warranty coverage:
wear (case, strap, bracelet, crown, buckles or clasps)
material damage to the object (even accidentally), impacts, dents, crushing, scratches, alterations
repairs or tampering
battery (in the case of quartz watches)
discoloration and effects of normal wear and tear or aging of the item.
Water damage (watches)
All watches are water resistant, but under certain conditions.
The resistance limits are detailed in the instruction booklet, where the permitted use is also specified; furthermore, on the case back of each watch, the specific water resistance is reported: if a watch is guaranteed as water resistant, without any indication of the depth, then it tolerates accidental splashes of water – therefore it is not recommended to immerse the watch in water.
When a specific water resistance rating is listed on the case back, for example 3 ATM/30 metres, 5 ATM/50 metres, this indicates the higher levels of water resistance, not the metres up to which the watch is guaranteed.
Here are the guidelines for interpreting the water resistance levels of watches:
water resistant: means moisture, accidental splashes, sweat
Water resistant 30m/3atm: the watch can be immersed in water, but without making any particular movements
Water resistant 50m/5atm: the watch can also be worn while swimming, excluding diving
Water resistant 100m/10atm: the watch can also be worn for diving
These indicators should be taken with great caution because all manufacturers' tests are done in the laboratory, where natural movement, and therefore pressure, is excluded.
Our advice: unless it is a technical watch, we do not recommend immersing watches in water, especially salt water, because over time it tends to wear out the product (strap, case, buckle, lugs, crown, buttons) and the risk is still there. For example, it could happen that by chance the crown of the watch (with which you change the time) is open: at that point it is certain that water enters inside the watch and the mechanism.
